Directions by road.
Arriving from York, Malton or Pickering via the A169 take the A171 to Whitby. If arriving via Scarborough follow the A171 also.
When reaching Whitby follow town centre signs at the traffic lights down Prospect Hill. At the bottom of the hill bear left at the roundabout onto Chubb Hill. At the top bear right at the roundabout onto St Hilda's Terrace.
Follow the road until it bears right. Instead of going right go straight down Flowergate.
Rose & Crown Yard is located behind Mason's fruit shop down a small walkway. Bosun's Cottage up the balcony steps and is the second cottage along the row.
Drop off parking is available in the area however this can be busy at certain times of the day. We can advise you on the most convenient parking for your stay.
Crows Nest Cottage is just around the corner on Cliff Street.
Public transport.
There are buses from Middlesborough and Scarborough and coaches from Leeds or York. A regular rail service runs from Middlesborough.
